Let’s Rinse It: My Next Post-Wax Essential is in the Works
It’s no secret that everything is getting…well…annoyingly expensive! I really tried to hold on to my current product selections but as a small business, I cannot justify the cost and neither should you! It should not cost you more than your wax to take care of your skin properly.
Since I had such amazing luck creating my own Ingrown Hair Treatment, I decided to do even more of a deep dive into the art of creating organic, safe and gentle body products that are still just as effective as any big name brands. And I think this one may be my new fav!
Introducing (almost) RINSE IT, a foaming gentle body wash that leaves freshly waxed skin clean, hydrated and glowing. Pair it with your favorite loofah or a LUVScrub and the results will blow your mind. I still have some testing to do, but rest assured I will keep you updated every step of the way. Stay tuned!
1st batch CRUSHED! I absolutely love the way this feels! It is so soft and buttery with lots of luxe foaming action. Blending of the first batch was a definite learning curve. I’m hoping batch two will blend easier. I’m so excited to perfect this for you guys so you can experience RINSE IT for yourself!
I officially finished bottling my second batch! It blended so much more smoothly this time. It looked and felt dreamy. I made enough for 6, 1oz bottles. I have already gotten some great feedback and am going to play with the formula a little bit more for batch 3.
TESTER #1: “I’ve used it the last couple days!! Love the smell and foaming consistency/bottle concept. Are there any exfoliants in it or all just soothing? I was just curious! What are the scents they smell really refreshing. I’d say this is a personal preference but. little more lather in it would be nice which might come from the surfactant (I was using like 6+ pumps). Overall I have really like it. Didn’t leave me dry or irritated or anything!”
TESTER #2: “Just tried your body wash! Some initials thoughts: It gave me instant nostalgia for like having a summer margarita. I love that it’s airy and feels fresh after. I also love that it smells like a margarita or even key lime like. Some minor tweaks that could really help this formula sing hugely, would just add something to make it more creamy and help it spread a little easier. Also this will make it feel more luxurious. Kind of like a whipped cream texture wicked be cool. Also maybe add like either a coconut, nectarine ir peach scent to make the lime I’m smelling really vibrant.”
TESTER #3: “Hey April, tried the body wash. It lathers well and smells good. I never liked the mouse type wash but it lathers well. Thanks for trusting me enough for my input. It felt really nice in the skin, not dry or oily.
TESTER #4: “I have YET to try it with exfoliating gloves. My gloves don’t really pickup anything unless I put A LOT. But I used your body wash after I use my exfoliating gloves and it feels really good. 2-3 pumps per large body part for me. It doesn’t make me feel dry and I don’t have any weird reactions or rash! I really love it.”
TESTER #5: “I love, love the scent. Very clean scent. It doesn’t lather to what I am used to. I realize maybe it’s not supposed to but since that’s what I’m used to, it’s hard to adjust to over the few days I’ve used it. The first day I used it on a loofah again and gave it extra pumps to see if that helped. It did a little but still didn’t lather as well. The last couple times I just used it without a loofah and I felt it covered a lot more area which was nice.”
